Synchronisation

React to changes
instead of constantly polling.

Webhooks help your application process relevant changes directly. This reduces unnecessary requests and keeps workflows clear.

A practical example

Instead of checking every property for new bookings repeatedly, your application reacts to a booking event and retrieves the related data when needed.

Choose relevant events

Our REST API provides events for bookings, availability and prices, among others. Subscribe only to events and properties relevant to your workflow. This keeps processing focused and traceable.

Set up secure delivery

Use an HTTPS endpoint and verify the signature according to the current documentation. The signing secret is returned only once during setup. A new subscription becomes active only after a successful signed verification delivery.

Plan reconciliation as a complement

Our recommendation: process events in the background and make their status visible. Targeted reconciliation at startup or after an incident complements webhooks. Avoid continuous full polling as the default approach.
